Acrylic on Wood Surfaces

This week we painted raw wood and then sanded down some bits, then re-pained parts we wanted to give some more attentio. Despite the fact that plywood DRINKS paint right up and uses too much paint for my liking, I loved the sanding technique and I will definitely use it in the future!!

So I found some amazing student work from Gobelins, and I would love to do work like this someday! Maybe I'll find a way to make it happen! Anyways, enjoy!

Getting out there!

I spent a lot of time today finding out ways to make a better blog, and what do ya know? It seems as if the best way is to post a lot, and follow other people's blogs! All that time, and I found out that what I am already doing is the best thing to do! Well, I plan on posting lots of new artwork as I create it, and I am going to slide much more in the direction of illustration, so I hope you enjoy fun artwork and stories, because that is what I am all about!
